Osiris Ley began her journey into makeup and beauty from a young age. Playing and learning with the tools and cosmetics in her aunt’s beauty salon and serving as a young model for beauty workshops helped deepen Osiris’ love for makeup. At about 11 years old, Osiris began assisting her aunt with makeup clients at the salon, and by age 15, convinced about her passion for makeup and beauty, Osiris enrolled in a cosmetology school in her native city of Culiacan, Sinaloa.

Osiris moved to Los Angeles, California at age 17 where she completed her high school education, which included an elective class as a Nail Technician. After seeing Osiris’ special ability doing nails, her teacher offered her to enter in nail-art competitions. Osiris then began competing in regional, state and national contests against the most prolific nail technicians from all over the world, and rightfully won the Gold Medal in the prestigious nail-art competition, Skills USA. This trimph brought Osiris national recognition, news coverage and an exclusive dinner invitation from then governor Arnorld Swatzeneger, who wanted to meet her and personally congratulate her on bringing to the state of California the first victory in such competition.

From this point, Osiris continued competing and winning several local and international competitions, drawing the attention of beauty product companies that invited her to work with them.

At age 18, Osiris began working formally as a professional makeup artist, and since then has applied makeup to thousands of clients over the years in a diverse range of settings, including makeup for photography, fashion shows, beauty pageants, weddings, glamour, concerts, award ceremonies, red carpet events, TV commercials, movies and television.

In 2014 won best make-up artist of the year in the Estrella TV Awards.

In early 2016, Osiris created a series of viral makeup tutorial videos, which led to national and international media attention, including appearances in programs such as Al Rojo Vivo, Suelta la Sopa, Noticiero Cierre de Edición, Noticiero Estrella TV, and a numerous interviews in newspapers, including El Debate and El Universal.

In 2009 Osiris created Latino MUA (Latino Makeup Association) – an association with the mission of helping Latina Makeup Artists to work towards better employment opportunities. Now in 2016, Latino MUA has a large industry reach and the organization is focused on uniting all Latina Makeup Artists with the purpose of having a strong voice in the community and in the makeup industry.

In 2016 Osiris also launches a rapidly growing line of hair extensions called

”Extensions Magicas by Osyley” which is growing rapidly and expanding into other similar products distributed worldwide.

In 2014 Osiris launched Kosi, LLC – a media company focused on television and online content, as well as the management of social networks of artists and viral Youtubers, and she is currently expanding the company and creating partnership platform with online celebrities devoted exclusively to makeup.

Osiris is considered a Latina Influenster and her beauty blog OSYLEY.COM recieves thousands of daily vistitors..

While working as a makeup artist, Osiris also managed to complete her studies in Business Administration and currently works as a staff makeup artist at a television station in Los Angeles, California. In addition, Osiris is also a writer of her own beauty column in newspapers La Opinion in Los Angeles and New York’s El Diario. Osiris devotes her free time to creating and developing new concepts, ideas and businesses.
